Day Three Highlights
The doors have now closed on The Classic & Sports Car Show 2016, held at Alexandra Palace. The three day spectacle saw big names from the world of motorsport and classic cars, a Coys auction and classic car parades starring the Tyrrell P34, plus exhibitors from across the globe joined us in London.
The morning started with the return of The PistonHeads Sunday Service, with famous cars from around the world lining the Pavilion car park.
The Live Stage presented by Goodwood Road & Racing was graced by some star names from the world of motorsport. Professional racing driver Nick Padmore joined Henry Hope-Frost, talking about everything from karting up to master historics. Stunt driver and British land speed record holder Anthony Reid also popped by and spoke to visitors.
John Fitzpatrick was on the stage talking about his distinguished racing career, plus the inspiration behind his new book My Life at the Wheel, which he also signed copies of.
Supercars of today were celebrated today in our parades which took to the closed surrounding roads leading up to Alexandra Palace. Eagerly awaited crowds were treated to everything from Ferrari to Aston Martin.
We’d like to thank all our visitors for making the second year of The Classic & Sports Car Show a huge success. If you couldn’t make it to Alexandra Palace this year, we look forward to welcoming you in to future Classic & Sports Car events across the UK.
